Contemporary Issues in Law Enforcement

Studies current police issues related to law enforcement and community attitudes. The course builds a strong basis for the discussion of ethical decision making and the need for a professional mindset. A component to this class focuses on community involvement. Students will identify community organizations in need of volunteers and complete 10 hours of service with those organizations. Prerequisites: Admission to Criminal Justice-Studies program 105045 and Intro to Law Enforcement 10504114
