Basic Firefighting and Hazmat Ops

Describes basic fire behavior, techniques used to control structural and related fire emergencies, and life safety practices. Examines characteristics relating to hazardous materials, including problems of recognition and mitigation. Learners perform all practical evolutions necessary to control and extinguish fires and otherwise meet all requirements for Firefighter I certification in the State of Wisconsin. Prerequisite: Admission to Fire Service Certification 305032
