PLA - Landscape Plant Identification

This is a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) to test out of the actual course. This PLA is comprised of a written multiple choice/short answer exam. There is a non-refundable fee to take this exam. Upon payment, you will be enrolled in Blackboard where you will see directions for contacting the instructor, completing the exam, some sample questions, and some tips for success before taking the actual exam. You must score an 80% or better for credit to be awarded. Introduces students to woody trees/shrubs and herbaceous plants commonly used in residential and commercial landscapes in Wisconsin. The three plant groups covered in this course are woody trees/shrubs, herbaceous perennial plants, and herbaceous annual plants. Identification, installation, and maintenance are covered for each plant group. PLA Portfolio (or extended response answers) and Skills Demonstration. $90 non-refundable fee.
