This course explores the diverse conditions, challenges, and opportunities experienced by individuals with differing abilities across physical, cognitive, emotional, and social domains. Learners will examine the impact of inclusive practices to meet the needs of unique populations, and will develop practical strategies to advocate for equity, accessibility, and empowerment. Emphasis will be placed on developmentally responsive approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical considerations in supporting special populations.
