PLA - Welding Foundations 1

This is a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) to test out of the actual course. This PLA is comprised of a skill demonstration that will be scored with a rubric. There is a non-refundable fee to complete the skills demonstration. Upon payment, you will be enrolled in Blackboard where you will see directions for setting up your demonstration with the evaluator and some tips for success. You must score an 80% or better for credit to be awarded. An introductory welding course focusing on FCAW, GMAW and oxy-fuel cutting. Lecture and lab activities are designed to emphasize safe work habits. PLA Portfolio (or extended response answers) and Skills Demo $90 non-refundable fee.
