Nursing Complex Health Alterations I

Prepares the student to provide and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan with alterations in cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, and hematologic systems. Also focuses on patients with fluid/electrolyte and acid-base imbalance as well as alterations in comfort. Prerequisites: Nursing Clin Care Across Lifespan 10543107 and Nursing Intro Clinical Care Management 10543108. Corequisite: Mental Health & Community Concepts 10543110, Nursing Intermediate Clinical Practice 10543111 and Nursing Advanced Skills 10543112. Prerequisite for LPN to ADN bridge students only: LPN/Paramedic to ADN Skills 10543134. Prerequisite for Paramedic to ADN bridge students only: Paramedic to ADN Clinical 10543135.
